In the past year and half changoTRee, have song-hopped the globe, travelling, recording, writing and performing shows in Canada, New Orleans, Texas, Ireland, New York, UK & France, as well as touring the Oz east coast.

This amazing journey has culminated in the new album“Postcards From Tomorrow”

The "Muse", is magical roots, blues-cruise, funky-folk with a splash of harmonies, swampy grooves with echos of "Rasta" Reggae

"ChangoTRee” is fronted by a brilliant and unique male/female songwriting “extra terestials”. Its shooting acoustic 8 string, parlour, resonator guitars, mandolin, drums and percussion.
Ian Treloar vox /8&6 string acoustic/elec synth guitars, loops and Poly Bass
Ree Liddell  vocals/ dobro / parlor guitar/mandolin.
Simon Dewar on drums percussion loops n harmony

Festivals of note include Wangaratta Jazz Blues Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival Mornington Cairns Tablelands Folk Roots Festivals. ChangoTRee’s debut album“Home” made # 1 and Tomorrow made #6 on the AMRAP, AirIt Regional charts and reviewed masterfully by Tony Hillier from Rhythms Magazine.

Here in Oz,  they are touring their new album Postcards up the East Coast of Oz, then its back to Canada in June July. The amazing world wide journey continues.

"Where on earth have you been hiding- that was fantastic"

The collocation of the male/female singer-songwriters make for an exciting merge, creating a smorgasbord of unexpected song scapes.  Ree Liddell through her grasp on the resonator, mandolin, parlor acoustic or the hybrid electric, finds her voice.

Ian's 8 string acoustic/electric guitar invention has his own signature “chang”. Hypnotic and lilting or hard-hitting with traces Hendrix and other guitar greats. Themes of space-junk, love, third-world rip-offs, rusted cars, politics, fun, environment; the stuff that makes the world go around - life.

At the heart of changoTRee is the poetic pith of retrospect and a song crafting which is honey for the world.
